Where the signing happens

You don’t drive anywhere, take time off, or find parking. Tell us the address and we bring the journal, the seal, and the right certificate wording.

Your home

Kitchen table, front room, driveway. Evenings and weekends included, because that’s when most families can get everyone in the same place.

Your office or closing

Loan signings, title company closings, I-9 verifications and corporate records — handled on your schedule, packages returned the same day.

Hospital or nursing home

Powers of attorney, advance directives and wills at the bedside. We work with nursing staff on timing and bring a witness arrangement if you need one.

A county facility

Jail and detention signings, cleared through the facility’s process in advance. Discreet, documented, and no questions you’ll have to answer twice.

What we notarize

If your document isn’t listed, call and ask. Most things are routine; we’ll tell you honestly when something isn’t.

Apostille, without the jargon

An apostille is a certificate that tells a government outside the United States that the signature and seal on your document are genuine. Without it, most countries won’t accept an American record at all.

You’ll need one for a birth certificate used in a dual-citizenship application, a diploma for a job abroad, an FBI background check for a work visa, a marriage record for a foreign registry, or corporate papers for an overseas partner.

We run the whole route through the Michigan Secretary of State — preparing the document, getting it authenticated, and tracking it back to you. Records issued in any of the fifty states are handled through the correct originating authority.

$99 plus state fees, which vary by document and processing speed

How a signing goes

  1. Call or text

Tell us the document, the address and roughly when. Most of these calls take three minutes, and you get the full fee before you hang up.

  2. Get the checklist

We confirm what photo ID to have out, who else needs to be in the room, and which pages to leave unsigned until we arrive.

  3. Sign

We verify identity, witness the signatures, apply the seal and record the act in the journal. You keep every original.

The person who picks up
is the person who shows up

Notary Elite LLC is owner-operated by a Michigan commissioned notary public. The owner takes the calls personally.

We work out of Taylor and cover Monroe County, Wayne County, Macomb County and the Detroit metro in person — and all fifty states for apostille work through the Michigan Secretary of State.

Most people who call are in the middle of something difficult: a closing that moves up a day, a parent in a hospital bed, a visa window that’s about to shut. The job is to be calm, on time, and completely discreet about what’s on the page.
